Artistic Director of the Aldeburgh Festival, Pierre-Laurent Aimard, coaches young pianists on Messiaen’s Catalogue d’oiseaux, repertoire he is presenting himself as part of the Aldeburgh Festival. Together with internationally acclaimed pianist, Tamara Stefanovich, they will explore the intricacies of this great masterpiece, which is a manifestation of the composer’s lifelong passion for ornithology.
