Young Composer Residency 2018 @ Snape Maltings – Julia Blondeau

In the framework of the ULYSSES Journeys, Snape Maltings, the home of Aldeburgh Music (UK), is offering a residency to Julia Blondeau, a young French composer of contemporary mixed, instrumental and electroacoustic music.

From 14th to 25th April 2018 Julia will be working on two pieces:

– a piece for piano and electronics, and
– a piece for the Wittener Tage für Neue Kammermusik 2019 for soprano, trumpet, bass clarinet, percussions and electronics.

She will be bringing with her to Aldeburgh French writer Frederika Amalia Finkelstein, with whom she is engaging in a long-term collaboration.
