Masterclass for young pianists – Final concerts

A project of Divertimento Ensemble

Following a call in 2017, ten young pianists have been selected for eight working sessions held by the teacher Maria Grazia Bellocchio between December 2017 and May 2018.
The repertoire of the masterclass is the complete piano work by György Ligeti.

At the end of the masterclass, the pianists present the result of their work in a public concert in Milan, on 6th May 2018 within Divertimento Ensemble’s 2018 Rondò concert season.

Further concerts are programmed as follows:

# in Novara, Conservatorium, on 19th May,

# in Milano, on 20th May in the framework of Festival Pianocity,

# in Modena on 6th June 2018, 21:00 at Teatro San Carlo in cooperation with the “Amici della Musica di Modena” and

# in Bologna in autumn (date TBC) in cooperation with the concert society “Musica Insieme”.
